I have been an avid fingerstyle guitar player for 36 years now and during that time I’ve owned, however briefly, at least 20 factory-made guitars. I was never completely satisfied with any of them, even their “custom shop” models, and it wasn’t until I commissioned my first luthier-made guitar 10 years ago that my eyes and ears were truly opened to what an acoustic guitar could be. That customer experience inspired me to become a luthier myself and I’ve spent the last 7 years studying guitar theory and design as well as experimenting with different structural elements and wood combinations. The lessons learned from this experimentation have coalesced into the finished design you see here.
